Abstract

Protocol for producing LB agar growth medium

Steps

LB Agar

1.

Add 1.5g LB powder, 1.5g agarose powder to conical flask

2.

Dilute with 200mL distilled water. Ensure fully dissolved

3.

Seal conical flask with sponge bung and foil

4.

Sterilise growth medium by autoclaving
