Abstract
How to make sm buffer for phage dilutions
Steps
1.
Dissolve following components in 300 mL of MilliQ water:

| NaCl | 100 mM | 2.34 g |
| Tris base | 50 mM | 2 g |
| MgSO 4 •7H 2 O | 8 mM | 0.79 g |
2.
Adjust pH to 7.4 – 7.5 with HCl
3.
Top up the volume to 400mL with MilliQ water
4.
Autoclave at 121°C for 0h 15m 0s
5.
Cool down to room temperature
6.
Filter-sterilise through 0.22 µm membrane
7.
Store at room temperature
