Abstract
Insert RFID chips into rats
Steps
1.
Disinfect needle with 70% EtOH and air dry
2.
Carefully install one RFID into the clean needle
3.
scruff rat skin on the back of neck with fingers
4.
Inset the sharp tips of the needle under the skin, target the back of the neck, close to the head.
5.
Release the RFID by pushing the plunger of the syringe
6.
Scan and make sure the RFID is under the skin
7.
upload the scanned RFID into a spreadsheet
