Donor Acceptance Criteria for TMC Florida/Zurich HuBMAP Inclusion

Abstract
This document outlines the required criteria for inclusion for donors of thymus, lymph nodes and spleen in the HuBMAP project.
Steps
Donor Criteria
A copy of the complete recovery checklist must be provided
BMI must be in keeping with CDC published growth charts 5th to 95th percentile
Donor must be less than seven days on ventilator
Donor tissue must be received within 24 hours of recovery
Contraindications for donor acceptance are
More than 4 blood transfusions
Any autoimmune diseases
Chromosomal abnormalities
Bacterial or viral meningitis or MRSA in any culture
Sepsis
Observable infarction, rupture, deflation or gross abnormality
Immune deficiency diseases
Cancer
Any active known infections including SARS-Cov-2
Spleen Specific Criterion
Must receive at least 50% of the intact spleen, including hilum.
No spenomegly
Lymph Node Specifc Criterion
Must receive at least 4 intact lymph nodes
Thymus Specific Criterion
Must be under the age of 50 to permit for adequate lymphoid tissue presence
